SN 48.63 Complete Understanding – Pariññāsutta

 

“Bhikkhū, when these five faculties are developed and cultivated they lead to the complete understanding of the course of time.

“Pañcimāni, bhikkhave, indriyāni bhāvitāni bahulīkatāni addhānapariññāya saṁvattanti.

What five?

Katamāni pañca?

The faculties of faith, energy, mindfulness, samādhi, and wisdom.

Saddhindriyaṁ …pe… paññindriyaṁ—

When these five faculties are developed and cultivated they lead to the complete understanding of the course of time.”

imāni kho, bhikkhave, pañcindriyāni bhāvitāni bahulīkatāni addhānapariññāya saṁvattantī”ti.
