Bhikkhū, there are these three searches.

“Tisso imā, bhikkhave, esanā.

What three?

Katamā tisso?

The search for sensual pleasures, the search for continued existence, and the search for a spiritual path. …”

Kāmesanā, bhavesanā, brahmacariyesanā”ti vitthāretabbaṁ.
