SN 36.9 AniccaAniccasutta

Bhikkhū, these three feelings are anicca, conditioned, dependently originated, liable to end, vanish, fade away, and cease.

“Tisso imā, bhikkhave, vedanā aniccā saṅkhatā paṭiccasamuppannā khayadhammā vayadhammā virāgadhammā nirodhadhammā.

What three?

Katamā tisso?

Pleasant, painful, and neutral feeling.

Sukhā vedanā, dukkhā vedanā, adukkhamasukhā vedanā—

These are the three feelings that are anicca, conditioned, dependently originated, liable to end, vanish, fade away, and cease.”

imā kho, bhikkhave, tisso vedanā aniccā saṅkhatā paṭiccasamuppannā khayadhammā vayadhammā virāgadhammā nirodhadhammā”ti.
