SN 35.204 The Interior and What’s Anicca in the Past – Ajjhattātītayadaniccasutta

 

“Bhikkhū, in the past the eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind were anicca.

“Cakkhu, bhikkhave, aniccaṁ atītaṁ.

What’s anicca is suffering.

Yadaniccaṁ, taṁ dukkhaṁ.

What’s suffering is not-self.

Yaṁ dukkhaṁ, tadanattā.

And what’s not-self should be truly seen with right understanding like this: ‘This is not mine, I am not this, this is not my self.’ …”
