Sāvatthinidānaṁ.

Bhikkhū, the earth element is anicca, perishing, and changing.

“Pathavīdhātu, bhikkhave, aniccā vipariṇāmī aññathābhāvī;

The water element,

āpodhātu …

the fire element,

tejodhātu …

the air element,

vāyodhātu …

the space element,

ākāsadhātu …

and the consciousness element are anicca, perishing, and changing.

viññāṇadhātu aniccā vipariṇāmī aññathābhāvī.

Someone who has faith and confidence in these principles is called a follower by faith. …”
