Sāvatthinidānaṁ.

Bhikkhū, craving for sights is anicca, perishing, and changing.

“Rūpataṇhā, bhikkhave, aniccā vipariṇāmī aññathābhāvī;

Craving for sounds,

saddataṇhā …

craving for smells,

gandhataṇhā …

craving for tastes,

rasataṇhā …

craving for touches,

phoṭṭhabbataṇhā …

and craving for thoughts are anicca, perishing, and changing.

dhammataṇhā aniccā vipariṇāmī aññathābhāvī.

Someone who has faith and confidence in these principles is called a follower by faith. …”
