Bhikkhū, intention regarding sights is anicca, perishing, and changing.

Intention regarding sounds,

saddasañcetanā …

intention regarding smells,

gandhasañcetanā …

intention regarding tastes,

rasasañcetanā …

intention regarding touches,

phoṭṭhabbasañcetanā …

and intentions regarding thoughts are anicca, perishing, and changing.

dhammasañcetanā aniccā vipariṇāmī aññathābhāvī.

Someone who has faith and confidence in these principles is called a follower by faith. …”
