Sāvatthinidānaṁ.

Bhikkhū, eye consciousness is anicca, perishing, and changing.

“Cakkhuviññāṇaṁ, bhikkhave, aniccaṁ vipariṇāmi aññathābhāvi;

Ear consciousness,

sotaviññāṇaṁ …

nose consciousness,

ghānaviññāṇaṁ …

tongue consciousness,

jivhāviññāṇaṁ …

body consciousness,

kāyaviññāṇaṁ …

and mind consciousness are anicca, perishing, and changing.

manoviññāṇaṁ aniccaṁ vipariṇāmi aññathābhāvi.

Someone who has faith and confidence in these principles is called a follower by faith. …”
