Quantum Mechanics and Dhamma

March 13, 2018; revised January 9, 2026

This section will discuss two issues:

1.A new interpretation of quantum mechanics (QM) grounded in non-locality (quantum entanglement) is presented drawing on Feynman’s ideas. Concepts such as wave-particle duality and the observer effect are unnecessary. Furthermore, complex interpretations like the “Many-Worlds interpretation” are avoided. All existing experimental data will be shown to be consistent with this interpretation.

2.A deeper understanding of how kamma automatically gives rise to a corresponding kamma vipāka in Buddhism (Buddha Dhamma) is possible through this interpretation. In this case, ‘dhammā‘ (or ‘kammic energy’ or ‘kamma bija‘) are like quantum particles. See #8 of “Kamma, Kamma Bīja and Kamma Vipāka.”
