AN 10.122 The Ending of Defilements – Āsavakkhayasutta

Bhikkhū, these ten things, when developed and cultivated, lead to the ending of defilements.

“Dasayime, bhikkhave, dhammā bhāvitā bahulīkatā āsavānaṁ khayāya saṁvattanti.

What ten?

Katame dasa?

1.3

Right view, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, right samādhi, right knowledge, and right freedom.

Sammādiṭṭhi, sammāsaṅkappo, sammāvācā, sammākammanto, sammāājīvo, sammāvāyāmo, sammāsati, sammāsamādhi, sammāñāṇaṁ, sammāvimutti—

These ten things, when developed and cultivated, lead to the ending of defilements.”

ime kho, bhikkhave, dasa dhammā bhāvitā bahulīkatā āsavānaṁ khayāya saṁvattantī”ti.

Paccorohaṇivaggo dutiyo.

Tayo adhammā ajito,

Saṅgāravo ca orimaṁ;

Dve ceva paccorohaṇī,
