AN 5.62 Perceptions (2nd) – Dutiyasaññāsutta

Bhikkhū, these five perceptions, when developed and cultivated, are very fruitful and beneficial. They culminate in the deathless and end with the deathless.

“Pañcimā, bhikkhave, saññā bhāvitā bahulīkatā mahapphalā honti mahānisaṁsā amatogadhā amatapariyosānā.

The perceptions of anicca, not-self, death, repulsiveness of food, and dissatisfaction with the whole world.

Aniccasaññā, anattasaññā, maraṇasaññā, āhāre paṭikūlasaññā, sabbaloke anabhiratasaññā—

These five perceptions, when developed and cultivated, are very fruitful and beneficial. They culminate in the deathless and end with the deathless.”
