“Bhikkhū, there are these four powers.

“Cattārimāni, bhikkhave, balāni.

What four?

Katamāni cattāri?

1.3

The powers of faith, energy, mindfulness, and samādhi.

Saddhābalaṁ, vīriyabalaṁ, satibalaṁ, samādhibalaṁ—

1.4

These are the four powers.”

Imāni kho, bhikkhave, cattāri balānī”ti.
